The Chennai Super Kings young sensation Urvil Patel has smashed the joint-fastest fifty in the IPL and he brought out a note while celebrating his fifty, in which he dedicated the knock to his father.
It has been an inspirational journey for the man from Gujarat and none of it would have been possible if his parents didn’t support him in the journey. It has been an innings packed with muscle and power as none of the bowlers have been able to devise a plan against the might of Urvil Patel.
Urvil Patel was sent in to bat at number 3 against LSG and his usual role has been to whack a couple of sixes in the power play and ensure that CSK have utilized the power play. This time out, he came out with the same intent and was hitting the ballers all across the park. Avesh Khan was his first prey as he smashed 4 sixes off the over. Then he continued his destruction against Digvesh Rathi and Mohammed Shami as well. Despite the early wicket of Sanju Samson, CSK have not been bothered by the slightest bit as they are cruising their way to victory.

CSK youngster’s explosive knock leaves LSG stunned as Chennai storm towards a massive chase
The Lucknow Super Giants will be feeling that they have missed out on 20-25 runs in the first innings as they reached the 90-run mark in 6 overs, but failed to convert it into a massive total. The brilliant innings of Josh Inglis is the reason why they have at least a 200-plus total on board as Nicholas Pooran and Rishabh Pant couldn’t contribute much to the scoreboard. There were a couple of exciting knocks from Himmat Singh and Shahbaz Ahmed, but it wasn’t good enough to give cushion to the LSG bowlers. The game could very well be considered done and dusted as CSK have had one of their best run-chases since 2019, and LSG will need an absolute miracle to come back into the game.
The Gujarat Batter will be proud of his innings as he has helped the Chennai Super Kings to close in on a chase of 204. CSK will be confident that they can make it to the playoffs as they have one more game against LSG and they will need a flawless result from here on in. If they are able to convert this game into 2 points, then CSK could very well be in strong contention for the playoffs.
