of winning the Test match and win the series by 3-1. Talking about the match, starting the day with the score 50/1, England took the innings further withBen Duckett and stand-in captain Ollie Pope at the crease.
Prasidh Krishna struck first for India on day four taking Ben Duckett’s wicket who got out after a well-made 54(83) runs. After a few over, Mohammed Siraj ended Pope’s innings on 27(54) runs as England were reduced to 106/3. After that, Harry Brook and Joe Root took charge of the innings chasing 374 runs.

Taking the innings further after 106/3, Harry Brook and Joe Root changed the game in favour of England with their partnership. The duo added 195 runs for the fourth wicket with Brook completing his hundred in just 92 balls. The right-hander got out after scoring 111 runs off 98 balls hitting 14 fours and two sixes.
By the end of second session of day four, England were at 317/4 with just 57 runs short of the target with Joe Root and Jacob Bethell. Root is also just two runs away from his hundred as the star batter is unbeaten on 98* runs off 135 balls hitting 12 fours before tea, while Bethell is batting at one runs off 11 balls. For India, Mohammed Siraj took two wickets so far while Akash Deep and Prasidh Krishna scalped a wicket each.
