After going down by 1-2 margin in the three-match ODI series last week, the action now shifts towards the T20I leg where the two nations will play as many as five matches, starting Wednesday, October 29.
However, the Men in Blue will be coming into this match high on confidence as they recently claimed the Men’s Asia Cup 2025, their record ninth title overall.
While the Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian side will be looking to get their combinations sorted as they eye to defend the T20 World Cup title next year at home, they were handed a massive blow as they will be without all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. It is to be noted that Nitish Kumar earlier missed the final ODI after sustaining a quadriceps injury in the second ODI in Adelaide.
