The moment happened in the 14th over of the second ODI match between India and Afghanistan in Lucknow. Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh bowled a sharp bouncer right at chest level. Afghan opener Ibrahim Zadran tried to hit it with a big pull shot. However, the ball caught a thick top edge and flew high into the deep outfield.

He was fielding far out near the boundary when the ball flew high into the air. The moment it went up, Prince ran in incredibly fast to track it down. As the ball began to fall short of him, he made a split-second decision and threw his whole body forward into a spectacular, full-length dive. He gripped the ball cleanly just inches before it could hit the grass to secure the wicket. Before this, Prince had endured a painful start to his international bowling career. He thought he had his debut wicket much earlier in the game when he dismissed opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz. However, a quick check from the umpire revealed Prince had marginally stepped over the line, and the wicket was cancelled out as a heartbreaking no-ball. After giving up consecutive boundaries to Rahmat Shah earlier in his spell, Prince decided to alter his angle. He switched tactics and decided to come around the wicket to bowl at the left-handed Kharote.

His efforts helped Team India bowling out Afghanistan for 232 to secure a commanding 170-run victory in Lucknow.
