Virat Kohli eyes another strong performance against New Zealand
Kohli heads into the series after an impressive performance in India’s recent three-match ODI series against the West Indies. He scored 168 runs across three innings, including an unbeaten 139 in the opening match, helping India secure victory in the contest.
His century also saw him cross the landmark of 15,000 runs in men’s ODI cricket, becoming only the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to achieve the milestone.
The upcoming series against New Zealand presents another opportunity for Kohli to continue his excellent record in the 50-over format. His experience, consistency and ability to perform under pressure will be important for India, particularly in challenging overseas conditions.
