It is to be noted that in the latest episode of the ex-Australia cricketer Michael Clarke’s Beyond23 podcast, Lalit Modi released unseen footage of the slap-gate incident from Mumbai Indians’ (MI) match against Kings XI Punajb (now Punjab Kings) in Mohali, which took place in IPL 2008. Shame on you, Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke..: Bhuvneshwari Sreesanth reacts after viral video release
Seeing this gain limelight over the internet, S Sreesanth’s wife took to Instagram to condemn it. “Shame on you, Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke. You people are not even human to drag up something from 2008 just for your own cheap publicity and views. Both @sreesanthnair36 and Harbhajan have long moved on; they are fathers now with school-going children, and yet you try to throw them back into an old wound. Absolutely disgusting, heartless, and inhuman,” she wrote.
The former Indian speedster’s wife also went on to slam Beyond23 podcast for deleting her comment as she wrote, “@beyond23cricketpod So pathetic! You deleted my comment instead of facing the truth. If you can post for views, at least have the courage to keep the truth visible.”
While it has been almost 18 years since the incident took place, the two cricketers have spoken widely around the same. Harbhajan Singh has also extended an apology regarding the same to Sreesanth while admitting that it has been his biggest regrets in life.
