Former captain of the Indian cricket team MS Dhoni, has grabbed the headlines for a rare appearance that he made on the streets of Ranchi. This isn’t the first time, reportedly he is often found roaming

nonchalantly in Ranchi. In 2023, a video on social media claimed that Dhoni was spotted riding his vintage Yamaha RD350, and earlier this year a report claimed that he drove a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG through Ranchi roads. MS Dhoni’s recent appearance has also reportedly sent the fans and social media into a frenzy.

Known for his cool-headed leadership and penchant for automobiles, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni has reportedly set the social media ablaze when he was spotted cruising through the streets of his hometown, Ranchi in a modified Hummer H2. The video showcased Dhoni’s rugged Hummer which had a striking Indian Army-inspired theme, featuring vivid artwork depicting military imagery, which included helicopters of the armed forces, tanks, and soldiers in combat poses, and in the later stage of the visual, Dhoni is seen driving it.

Reports claim that MS Dhoni’s car is approximately worth INR 75 Lakh

According to the reports, the customization of MS Dhoni’s Hummer H2 was carried out in 2024 and the price of the car is approximately INR 75 Lakh. Dhoni, a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) in the Indian Territorial Army, has often expressed his admiration for the armed forces. In 2015, he underwent a 15-day training stint with the Parachute Regiment in Agra, earning his maroon beret and para wings. The customized Hummer, painted in a bold camouflage pattern with intricate details, is claimed to be a testament to his patriotism and love for unique vehicles.

MS Dhoni’s clip reportedly sparked a wave of nostalgia among fans who continue to idolize him, fondly known as ‘Captain Cool,’ for his contributions to Indian cricket, including leading the team to the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy titles. He was last seen in IPL 2025 as a stand-in captain of Chennai Super Kings when Rituraj Gaikwad had to leave the season due to an elbow injury.
