After a month long break, the Indian cricket team is set to return to competitive action with the Men’s Asia Cup 2025, scheduled to be played entirely in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9
to 28. The continental tournament, which will be played in T20 format, will see Suryakumar Yadav return at helm whereas Shubman Gill be taking charge as his deputy.
Just days prior to the tournament, the Men in Blue, who are the defending champions, had undergone their first training in Dubai after landing on September 4. Notably, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side is placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals Pakistan, UAE and Oman. The Men in Blue will begin their campaign against UAE on September 10.
Arshdeep Singh gives a sneak-peek at Team India’s Asia Cup 2025 jersey
Days ahead of the tournament, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a glimpse of the team’s jersey for the continental tournament. It is to be noted that the Men in Blue will be playing the Asia Cup without a sponsor after Dream11’s exit after the introduction of the Online Gaming and Protection Bill, 2025.
Elaborating on the jersey, it is a usual T20I jersey that they have been wearing since the last World Cup in 2024, but the blue and orange jersey don’t have a title sponsor this time. In the story which was shared by Arshdeep Singh on his Snapchat account, it also features Kuldeep Yadav as the players were reportedly going for a shoot.
