FC Barcelona are reportedly looking to sign Lisandro Martinez in the upcoming winter transfer window. Deco has been closely following the Argentine defender as his contract expires in June 2027. Martinez has also
been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid and some of the other top clubs. The Manchester United defender hasn’t been in great form in the past few matches in the Premier League. Michael Carrick would have to make a huge decision on the center back as he is key to their defensive structure. Martinez attracts interest from Spanish clubs with contract expiring in June 2027
Lisandro Martinez has been an integral part of Manchester United over the last few seasons. His defensive partnership along with Harry Maguire has proved to be detrimental in high pressure matches. Despite being criticised early on for his height disadvantage, he has managed to win the majority of the aerial duels in the league. In recent times, the Argentine defender has lost his way and he was even benched for a game.
