The International Cricket Council (ICC) Menโs Cricket World Cup 2027 schedule has been announced, with the 50-over showpiece set to be played across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia from October 2 to November
21, 2027.
The tournament will begin with the opening fixtures on October 2, while the grand finale is scheduled to take place in Johannesburg on November 21. The competition will feature some of the biggest teams in world cricket battling for the coveted ODI World Cup title.

India and Pakistan to face off on October 10
One of the biggest highlights of the World Cup schedule is the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash. The arch-rivals have been placed in the same group and will meet on October 10 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
India will begin their World Cup campaign against Australia on October 7 in Cape Town. They will then take on Pakistan before facing Afghanistan on October 14 in Tshwane.
Pakistan, meanwhile, will open their campaign against Afghanistan on October 8 in Tshwane. Their group-stage fixtures also include matches against India and Qualifier A.
The group-stage schedule features several exciting contests involving South Africa, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Australia, Pakistan, India and Afghanistan, alongside the qualifying teams.
Knockout stage scheduled in November
Following the group-stage fixtures, the tournament will move into the next phase, with matches scheduled across several venues in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The semi-finals will be played on November 17 and 18. Cape Town will host the first semi-final, while Tshwane has been selected as the venue for the second semi-final.
