After the Punjab Kings chased down a record total of 265 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the PBKS owner Preity Zinta was seen engaging in a fun moment with Priyansh Arya. Preity Zinta was seen to be punching
Priyansh Arya for fun and he reacted hilariously towards it. Priyansh Arya was one of the stars of the day as he was smashing the bowlers for fun in the power play. He ended up with a score of 43 off just 17 balls, including 2 fours and 5 sixes, striking at 252.94. The Punjab Kings opening pair had determined the opening phase of the game and the rest was done by the middle order.
The Punjab Kings were entitled with a huge task to chase down 265 as KL Rahul scored a magnificent 152 in the first innings. The Delhi Capitals were absolutely on song as they maximised their boundaries in the middle overs and the Punjab Kings were struggling. They would have felt like they missed a second spinner in the side along with Yuzvendra Chahal. They still have Harpreet Brar warming the bench and they could potentially find a place for him in the side in the next match.

Light-hearted moment goes viral as Priyansh Arya’s explosive knock sets tone for historic 265 chase
Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya put up a solid opening partnership of 126 in just 7 overs and from there the Delhi Capitals needed some quick wickets to come back into the game. But then Shreyas Iyer was the man who shouldered the responsibility to take his side home. He was dropped a couple of times by Karun Nair but it would be considered even as KL Rahul was dropped twice in the 1st innings as well. Shreyas Iyer went on to score 71 off just 36 balls and along with him Nehal Wadhera and Shashank Singh smashed some quick boundaries to take the pressure off the skipper.
The Punjab Kings have been rampant in the IPL 2026 so far and there has been no challenge that has proved to be impossible for them. They will be hopeful that they can continue this form in the coming games and get their hands on the title for the first time in the history of the club.
