What happens when a titan of the cricket field gets to interact and spend time with another from the field of business and entrepreneurship? Well, the end result is a fun time and time well spent especially
during the festive season here in India.
Most recently, the man nicknamed “Captain Cool” by cricket lovers Mahendra Singh Dhoni got to spend quality time at the Reliance Greens with none other than Akash and Radhika Ambani marking the spectacular Navratri celebrations.
Amid the festive season’s revered vibes, marked by lights and a reverie, Dhoni, a name that needs no introduction got to interact with the family widely regarded as India’s most “powerful” business house. But there was also the man widely recognised as the most influential businessman of the country, alongside a certain Mr Adani: Mukesh Ambani. And India’s former captain Dhoni wasn’t alone at the Navratri Carnival at Reliance Greens; his doting and simple wife, Sakshi was there as well!

The event did carry a surreptitious tone to it and why wouldn’t that be, else the crowds knowing how was there at Reliance Greens besides India’s heavyweight business dynamites, would have gone wild? Isn’t it?
But amid a gaggle of fun joy rides, games, and the kind of entertainment one expects from Carnivals, there were smiles all around. And by now, needless to say, the clip had already become viral on social media. Dhoni’s a cult as we all know. And dozens of his fan clubs have already shared the clip a countless times. Well, that’s what festive season in India is about, right? Smiles and celebrations, over and over again. And why shouldn’t that be the case?
That being told, what’s interesting to note here is that the enigma of Dhoni only grows further. That’s him neither playing actively in the IPL nor being seen in any way as a cricketer on the field. That also conveys a thing about success, doesn’t it? That your fragrance of achievement makes you so relevant even as you’ve retired that it continues to linger long after you’ve vacated the 22 yards.
But that doesn’t mean his fans wouldn’t want him to see playing leagues actively around the world. What do you reckon?
