Indian T20 WC stars who could miss Asia Cup 2025

Several interesting and exciting names in the Indian cricket team's white-ball setup are primed to, or let's say, likely to not get selected for the Asia Cup 2025 squad. Interestingly, some of these talents,

who were around the last time that India participated and won the T20 World Cup in the year 2024. will likely miss out on from participation in the Asia Cup 2025 edition.

While some are fine bowling names, there are also some dominant batters. Could there absence, therefore, impact the team in now what lies ahead for India in an era where there is no Rohit Sharma and also no Virat Kohli? 

Let us look at 3 Indian cricketers who could miss out on Asia Cup 2025

1. Rishabh Pant

One of the most talented and exciting batters in the Indian cricket team even in the white-ball format, Pant, who was very much part of the T20 World Cup squad in 2024 for the series, is likely going to miss out on making it to the Asia Cup 2025 squad.

Pant's fiery and fearless batting will most certainly be missed this time around on account of him having sustained a foot injury as seen in the series in England most recently.   

His experience at the highest level will be a critical factor that his India will miss out on.   

2. Mohammed Siraj

Siraj is currently undergoing some fitness tests and other examinations in lines with his body that underwent enormous challenge of having contested throughout the five-match Test series in England. Though, he's not plagued with a serious injury,Siraj, who was India's most successful and standout performer as seen in England, could miss the bus for Asia Cup 2025 event.

That being said, Siraj's who been in great from as seen with his 23 scalps in Tests in England, including the best figures of 6 for 70, was in red hot form and would likely have mirrored his success for his team's cause in what lies ahead in the exciting Asia Cup contests. But it doesn't seem certain for now that the great talented fast bowler would be ready in time. 

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal

It's one thing to be incredibly talented and quite another to be in the mix of the team across formats and that too, on a regular basis. This stands true for the wonderful Jaiswal, who despite decent scores in England as seen recently, coupled with a fantastic century, hasn't been picked for the Asia Cup 2025.

Jaiswal was in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad, which the Indian team won recently last year, but this time around, it seems that the rising graph of the wonderfully talented Abhishek Sharma could keep Jaiswal from being in the Indian Asia Cup 2025 squad.
