Indian wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan and opener Abhishek Sharma engaged in a hilarious moment at the Asian Games 2026. India will be up against Sri Lanka in the semifinals on October 1 at the Korogi
Sports Park, Nisshin. Notably, both the teams have made it to the final four without playing a single ball.
Ahead of the big clash, Indian batters Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma were seen enjoying their off-the-field time. In a video going viral on social media, Kishan could be seen mimicking the legendary Indian athlete Milkha Singh from his biopic, Bhag Milkha Bhag, whose character was played by Farhan Akhtar.
In the video, Kishan could be seen wearing India kit, followed by him and Sharma mimicking the racer and his coach, Gurudev Singh. The two mimic an iconic scene from the movie, where Singh asks Milkha, “Bol, harayega Sher Singh Rana ko?” (“Tell me, Would you defeat Sher Singh Rana?”) Notably, Sher Singh Rana is portrayed as the reigning champion athlete who already wears the coveted India team blazer.
Needless to say, since shared, the video has been shared multiple times across social media, garnering reactions from Indian fans.
“Tu Sher Singh Rana ko haraayega?” 🤣

What happens if India vs Sri Lanka Asian Games 2026 semifinal gets abandoned?
As stated, India will be up against Sri Lanka in one of the semi-finals of the Asian Games 2026 in Nisshin on October 1. Both teams entered the tournament in the final eight, and all four quarter-finals were washed out without a ball bowled. Which means all the tournament’s four seeded sides advanced through to the semi-finals without playing.
Defending champions India enter the game under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah among the senior players. Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is also in the squad. On the other hand, Sri Lanka are captained by Sahan Arachchige, and have names such as Chamika Karunaratne, seamer Nuwan Thushara and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth in the mix.
If rain plays a spoil sport in the highly-anticipated clash, a Super Over will be played to settle the side and decide the finalist. If the weather cancels out Super Over as well, the higher seeded team moves ahead. It means that India, ranked higher, will advance to the summit clash. The same provision is for the second semifinal between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
