After that, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer took charge of the innings as the duo put up a partnership of 118 runs for the third wicket. Rohit turned out to be a top scorer with 73 runs off 97 balls hitting seven fours and two sixes, while Iyer contributed with 61 runs off 77 balls hitting seven boundaries.
