The finalists of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings caught the attention of the fans with their post on social media ahead of the India versus Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2025. One othe most awaited fixtures of Asia Cup is on the way
as India will take on Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 14. Ahead of the clash between the neighbouring countries, there have been different reactions by the fans on social media regarding India playing against Pakistan despite the tensions at the border in recent times.
A tragic incident took place in Pahalgam in April 2025 where the terrorists killed 26 civilians. After that, India replied to Pakistan with Operation Sindoor after which there were tense situations at the border for a few days which created a war-like situation between India and Pakistan. Since then there haven’t been good ties between both the countries and India don’t want to continue any ties with Pakistan. Recently, India Champions were scheduled to play against Pakistan Champions in the World Championship of Legends but the match was cancelled after the Indian players backed out and said that they don’t want to play against Pakistan.
PBKS avoid putting Pakistan logo in their social media post
Now, India are officially scheduled to play against Pakistan in the sixth match of Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai on September 14. After the schedule was announced, there were different reactions for the fans as many fans are disappointed with the BCCI for organising the game with Pakistan despite the tense situation between both the countries.
Recently, Punjab Kings also shared a post on social media where they avoided putting Pakistan Cricket Board’s logo as they sent their wishes for Team India for the upcoming clash. In a picture shared on social media, PBKS put picture of Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav along with vice-captain Shubman Gill. Along with this, they also put BCCI’s logo but left a blank space in space of PCB logo and mentioned other details about the match.
