Pakistan is currently hosting the world Test champions, South Africa in al all-format series, consisting of two Tests, three T20Is and as many ODIs. While the tour kickstarted on Sunday, October 12 with
the first Test of the two-match series, the T20Is will commence from October 28, followed by the ODI series, which will be played from November 4 to 8.
While the Men in Green has so far announced only the Test squad for the ongoing series, they are likely to announce the white-ball squads in days to come. Amidst this, Pakistan rising pace sensation, Ihsanullah has made a bold claim, which has been going viral on social media.
Abhishek Sharma won't last beyond six balls: Ihsanullah
In a video message, the fiery pacer can be heard saying that if India’s top T20I batter Abhishek Sharma is against him, he can’t last beyond six deliveries. “Against India, there’s Abhishek Sharma. If I get the chance and Abhishek Sharma comes up against me, it won’t last beyond six balls. I’ll finish him off easily within three balls,” Ihsanullah said, indirectly issuing a challenge for an in-form opener.

The challenge comes seeing Abhishek Sharma stand out at the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2025, where he finished as the highest run-getter, amassing 314 runs at a strike rate of 200. He also lifted the Player of the Tournament award for his blitz knock and with his growing experience, he remains one of India’s brightest young prospects.
