Lucknow Super Giants pacer Prince Yadav had an absolutely dreamy start to his spell against the SunRisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026. The 24-year-old delivered a peach to dismiss Ishan Kishan on his third delivery
of the game, forcing the Hyderabad skipper to walk back on one run. The Orange Army hosted the Super Giants in the first of the Sunday’s double-header clash at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. Hyderabad, coming off a blowout win over the Kolkata Knight Riders, seemed confident after being asked to bat first.
However, contrary to their expectations, they got off to a horrible start, losing three wickets within the first four overs. After Mohammed Shami forced Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head to walk back at duck and an eight-ball-seven, Yadav bowled out skipper and wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan, adding to the hosts’ woes. Kishan walked back to the hut at just one run off four deliveries, while Hyderabad got reduced to 11 runs at the loss of three wickets. The young lad celebrated the early success by looking up in the sky, thanking the divine for the same.
