In the ongoing Delhi Test between Team Indiaand West Indies, the former’s opener Yashasvi Jaiswal exuded confidence and notched up his seventh Test ton. On the first day of the second Test, the left-handed
opener has looked confident, so far. With KL Rahul, Jaiswal stitched a 58-run stand for the opening wicket with KL Rahul. Rahul departed after scoring 38 off 54 but Jaiswal stood in the middle and got support from Sai Sudharsan to take the visitors’ bowling attack to the cleaners. Sudharsan brought his fifty in 87 balls while Jaiswal also went on to hammer his seventh ton in 145 deliveries.
After completing his century, Yashasvi Jaiswalwas seen showing a heart sign with his hands. He was seen showing that sign earlier as well. During the Oval Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, he made a heart sign after racking up the century against England in the second innings.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan deliver a headache to West Indies’ bowling attack
Jaiswal and Sudharsan have delivered a headache to the West Indies’ bowling attack. Both have added more than 160 runs for the second wicket so far as India are heading towards a big total in the first innings of second Test in Delhi. Jaiswal has already completed his hundred while Sudharsan is also slowly heading towards the triple figures.
Until tea, India have scored 220/1 in 58 overs. With players such as Shubman Gill, Dhruv Jurel, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, and Nitish Kumar Reddy waiting for their chance to bat, the two batters are looking more aggressive in the final session of the day. Team India will look to post a heavy total on the board which could create pressure on the Windies side and force the visitors to capitulate as soon as possible.
