Team India is currently touring Australia for a white-ball series comprising of three ODIs and five T20Is. However, with the ODI series going the hosts way with 2-0 margin, the two teams are locking horns
in the third and final ODI, underway at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney on Saturday, October 25. For the unversed, Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bat first.
While the decision of the home side to put the score first on board did not prove fruitful as they were bowled out at the score of 236 in 46.4 overs, courtesy a four-wicket haul for Harshit Rana. Apart from him, Washington Sundar picked two whereas Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel finished with a wicket apiece.
Virat Kohli’s reaction surfaces as he gets his first runs during Australia tour
During the run-chase of 237, Rohit Sharma opened the innings with skipper Shubman Gill, but the latter was dismissed after just scoring 24 off 26 deliveries. After Gill’s dismissal, Virat Kohli joined Rohit in the middle and like the previous occasion, was once again welcomed amid loud cheers. Taking the field after two ducks, Kohli beamed with confidence, hoping to get some scores on the board.
Taking on Josh Hazlewood on his first ball, Kohli stepped forward and clipped it towards mid-wicket. With this he took a single as the crowd brought up loud cheers for the 36-year-old. Moreover, Kohli also looked happy as he pumped his fist and smiled after opening his scorecard, reaction of the same has been going viral.

While the Indian team will be hoping to get a consolation win under their belt, at the time of writing, the Indian scorecard read 99/1 after 15 overs with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the middle.
