Ishan Kishan produced a stunning catch to dismiss Matthew Forde during the first T20I between India and West Indies in Lucknow.
The dismissal came in the 15th over when Kuldeep Yadav bowled a shortish delivery
to Forde. The ball turned in slowly, and the West Indies batter went for the pull shot towards deep mid-wicket.
Forde did not get the required power or timing on the shot, with the ball travelling towards Kishan’s left. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter covered the ground quickly to get into position for the catch.
Reflexes and awareness 👌

Ishan Kishan left in disbelief after completing catch despite earlier misjudgement
It initially appeared that Kishan had misjudged the ball or possibly lost it under the lights. However, he recovered brilliantly as the ball continued to travel towards him.

Kishan then got both hands low to his left while sliding and simply put them out in the hope that the ball would stick. It did exactly that, with the ball going into his left hand.
The catch completed the dismissal of Matthew Forde, with Kishan holding on despite the difficult movement and the ball travelling away from him. After completing the catch, Kishan looked in disbelief at what he had just pulled off, while Kuldeep Yadav could also hardly believe the effort.
