Chennai Super Kings were put to the sword by a rampant Royal Challengers Bengaluru side on Sunday (April 5) as they feasted the CSK bowling at the M Chinnaswamy

Stadium.

Winning the Toss, CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad chose to bowl, but his bowlers travelled across the park as RCB posted a mammoth total of 250/4 in their full quota of 20 overs.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru batters were led by Tim David, who scored a fabulous unbeaten 70 off just 25 balls, with 3 fours and 8 sixes. RCB managed to score 97 runs in the last five overs.

The Super Kings bowlers were completely taken apart, as they went for plenty. Khaleel Ahmed was the only bowler who conceded at less than 10 per over, while all of their other bowlers conceded more than 12 runs per over.

CSK, who have been lackluster this season with two defeats in a row, have looked a shadow of their own. And on Sunday, the performance remains another bleak one, at least with the ball. The fans were angry on the players and they took their frustration on social media.

The CSK Bowling has been lacklustre. To say the least, the bowlers have failed to get wickets, and they have also been unable to stop the leakage of runs. And that has led the most runs against them today as RCB posted 250.
