Will Jacks contributed 46 off 22 (5 fours, 3 sixes) in a 93-run opening stand before Nitish Reddy dismissed him. Hardik Pandya added 31 off 15 (2 fours, 2 sixes), but MI lost wickets to Praful Hinge (2-54) and others.
