Bengaluru, October 13, 2026: Virat Kohli, one of the most accomplished cricketers of his generation, has joined LinkedIn. On the platform, Kohli will share
his perspectives and work beyond the field as co-founder of one8 and an investor in Agilitas Sports.
Virat Kohli invests in India's sports industry
Kohli's investment in Agilitas Sports reflects his belief that India's sporting future depends not only on its athletes but also on the industry built around them.
Agilitas is building a vertically integrated sports and active lifestyle company with capabilities spanning product development, manufacturing, distribution, retail and brand building. Its ambition is to build Indian sporting brands with global relevance.
one8 is central to that ambition. As a co-founder, Kohli is directly involved in shaping the brand's high-performance and active lifestyle products, bringing an athlete's perspective to product functionality, design and finish.
Virat Kohli to share leadership lessons from elite sport
Drawing on nearly two decades at the highest level of international cricket, Kohli will share perspectives on leadership, team building, decision-making under pressure and the discipline required to sustain performance over time - lessons that extend naturally from sport to business.
Virat Kohli, Co-Founder, one8, and Investor, Agilitas Sports, said, "Sport has been such a big part of my life, and over the years I've realised that the same approach applies to everything you do. If the intent is right and you genuinely care about what you're building, people feel that. That's what drew me to Agilitas.I wanted to be part of building something from India that can be globally relevant, but also something that can have a real impact on how people experience sport and movement in their everyday lives. For me, it's not just about putting products on a shelf. It's about building something meaningful, giving athletes products they can truly believe in, and creating Indian brands that people can wear with pride. Ultimately, I'd like what we build to outgrow all of us. "
