The biggest boost for India comes with the return of wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who has recovered from a foot injury sustained during the England tour. Pant recently featured in an unofficial Test for India A against South Africa A, showcasing his readiness for a return to the longest format.
All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, who missed the first three T20Is against Australia due to injury, has also earned his Test call-up, adding depth to India's middle order and providing an extra bowling option.
