crown.

Germany's latest success also carries historical significance on the all-time World Cup honours list. Their fourth title takes them level with Pakistan, who had previously held the record for the most men's Hockey World Cup championships with four victories.
For Spain, the final ended in disappointment despite an impressive campaign that took them all the way to the title match. Germany, meanwhile, once again demonstrated their ability to perform under pressure on the biggest stage.
The 1-0 victory underlined the importance of defensive organisation and composure in a final where opportunities were at a premium. Struthoff's third-quarter strike ultimately proved decisive, while Germany's disciplined defensive effort ensured that Spain could not find a way back.
With another World Cup trophy secured, Germany have further strengthened their position among the most successful nations in international men's hockey. Earlier on the day, Argentina secured a 2-1 win over co-hosts Netherlands to claim the Bronze medal position in the competition.
