Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma once again visited spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan on Wednesday, continuing a series of visits to the saint's
ashram in 2026.
The couple arrived at the Radha Keli Kunj Ashram early in the morning, just two days before Guru Purnima, and were seen walking barefoot through muddy pathways before seeking the blessings of the revered spiritual leader.

Videos circulating on social media showed Kohli and Sharma entering the ashram wearing face masks while maintaining a low profile.

According to reports, the couple spent around an hour at the ashram before emerging with prasad. Kohli was also seen wearing a sandalwood tilak on his forehead.
After meeting Premanand Maharaj, the pair reportedly visited the nearby ashram of his guru, Govind Sharan Maharaj, to offer prayers and seek blessings.
Their fourth visit to Vrindavan in 2026
The latest trip marks the couple's fourth visit to Premanand Maharaj's ashram this year and reportedly their eighth overall.
Earlier visits include:
- April 20 - The couple attended a satsang on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
- June 2 - They returned to Vrindavan shortly after Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their maiden IPL title, spending nearly two hours at the ashram.
- July 22 - Their latest visit came ahead of Guru Purnima.
Their repeated visits reflect the couple's ongoing spiritual association with Premanand Maharaj.
Why is the timing significant?
The visit comes just two days before Guru Purnima, one of the most important festivals dedicated to honouring spiritual and academic teachers.
Celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Ashadha, Guru Purnima is observed across Hindu, Buddhist and Jain traditions as a day to express gratitude to gurus and mentors.
Virat Kohli recently starred against England
The visit follows India's 2-1 ODI series defeat to England, where Kohli finished strongly despite a slow start.
After scoring just 5 in the opening match, the former India captain bounced back with scores of 65 (66) and 74 (60) in the remaining two ODIs.
Kohli is next expected to feature during India's home ODI series against the West Indies, scheduled to begin in September.
