English batter Jos Buttler sits second on the list with seven centuries. Buttler's aggressive batting for Rajasthan Royals has made him one of the most feared top-order players in the tournament.
West Indies legend Chris Gayle occupies third place with six IPL centuries. Known for his devastating power-hitting, Gayle remains one of the most destructive batters in T20 history.
Virat Kohli dominance in IPL history
Kohli's IPL record goes beyond just centuries. The RCB talisman is also the highest run-scorer in the tournament's history, with more than 8600 runs.
His most iconic season came in IPL 2016, when he scored four centuries in a single campaign - a record he shares with Jos Buttler, who matched the feat in IPL 2022.
Interestingly, Kohli's first IPL hundred also marked his maiden century in T20 cricket. He achieved the milestone against Gujarat Lions in the 2016 season.
