out England's Harry Brook by a single point.
England duo Joe Root and Harry Brook endured a tough third Test against New Zealand at Nottingham, losing significant rating points. Root dropped 31 points after a disappointing showing, falling to third place just one week after beginning his 12th stint at No. 1. Brook shed 14 points and now occupies second spot.
New Zealand's victory in the ICC World Test Championship series (2-1) against England boosted several of their batters. Daryl Mitchell starred with a century in Nottingham, climbing five places to 11th. Devon Conway jumped 14 spots to 15th, while Tom Latham rose 12 places to 31st. England's Ben Duckett also gained ground, moving from 17th to 14th thanks to a strong first-innings hundred.

Additional movements came from other recent Tests, including West Indies vs Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh. Sri Lanka's Dhananjaya de Silva rose six places to 21st in batting, while West Indies' Roston Chase gained 14 spots to 79th. Among bowlers, West Indies' Shamar Joseph (up nine to 14th) and Kemar Roach (up four to 17th), plus Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani (up six to 19th), all improved.
