is expected to retire from international football after the FIFA World Cup 2026.

"From the information I have, Cristiano will say goodbye. Enjoy it while it lasts. It's not today that he's saying goodbye, but it's soon. I believe this is his farewell," she said to Sport TV.
Ronaldo's sister also addressed the critics and clarified that no criticism affects their happiness.
"For intelligent people, those who truly love football, it's impossible not to admire Cristiano. They are the ones missing out. He has been dominating the game for more than 20 years. Look at where the Aveiro family is today, and where we came from. Look at the suffering my mother went through. Do you really think criticism is going to affect our happiness? Never," she added.
