The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2026 marks the 12th season of India's unique fusion of cinema stars and cricket passion, featuring eight teams from
major film industries.
This T20 tournament draws over 200 million viewers across TV and digital platforms, with packed stadiums creating a carnival atmosphere. The tournament is set to start from January 16, and the final will take place on February 1.
VVl 2026 Teams and Representation
Eight teams represent Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, and Bhojpuri film industries, fostering regional pride and national unity. Kerala's Malayalam film industry has returned this season, making it an eight-team affair.
The teams are - Punjab De Sher, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers, Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, and Vels Chennai Kings.
CCL 2026 Venues
The tournament will start in Vizag, and the matches will then shift to Coimbatore with the final being played in Hyderabad.
