Chasing a modest 128 at Emirates Old Trafford after Gus Atkinson's 3-30 helped restrict Sunrisers to 127 all out (Mitchell Marsh 32, Zak Crawley 31), Seifert and fellow opener Paul Walter dismantled the attack.
Seifert finished 80 not out from just 40 balls with five fours and seven sixes, while Walter contributed an unbeaten 44 from 28. The pair completed the chase in only 67 balls with 33 remaining for a 10-wicket victory-just the second such win in the history of the men's competition.

The Kiwi batter, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2026 season, has been in decent form at the Hundred this season. He was also awarded with the Player of the Match award for his performance.

Seifert's third successive fifty of the tournament lifted Super Giants into second place and all but sealed their Eliminator spot. Trent Rockets had already locked in a direct path to Sunday's final at Lord's. The Eliminator is scheduled for 15 August, with the final the following day.
