Auqib Nabi has replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the Indian team for the upcoming Sri Lanka series.
The Jammu and Kashmir pacer has received his first India call-up
on the back of a couple of stellar domestic seasons, where he picked up 104 wickets and fired J&K to their historic Ranji Trophy title.
"The Men's Selection Committee has named Auqib Nabi as Bumrah's replacement. The Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler earns his maiden call-up to the senior national team," a statement from BCCI read on Monday.
"Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka as he has not yet fully recovered from the left knee injury sustained during the ODI series against England," the statement added.
