World number one Aryna Sabalenka has scooped the WTA Player of the Year award for 2025.
Sabalenka has now won the award in back-to-back seasons, becoming the first player since 2010 to scoop the prize more
than once.
The Belarusian spent the entire year at the summit of the WTA rankings and won four titles, more than any other player on the Tour.
Sabalenka triumphed at the US Open, which marked her fourth grand slam title, while also winning the Miami Open, the Madrid Open and the Brisbane International.
She was runner-up at the Australian Open and French Open, losing to Madison Keys and Coco Gauff in those finals, respectively.

The American reached five finals and won WTA 1000 crowns in Doha and Beijing. She also reached the showpiece matches at both Wimbledon and Flushing Meadows.
Victoria Mboko was selected as the Newcomer of the Year, with the teenager having reached world number 18 by the end of the season.
She triumphed on home soil in Montreal, becoming the second-youngest woman in the Open Era to beat four grand slam champions at the same tournament in the process.
Belinda Bencic was the Comeback Player of the Year. She returned to the Tour after giving birth to her daughter in 2024, reaching the semi-finals at Wimbledon and claiming a trophy in Tokyo.
