The unfortunate accident took place on April 10 in Vrindavan, a pilgrimage site in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a formidable 219/6 in 20 overs, after PBKS elected to bowl first. The explosive opening pair set a blistering tone. Abhishek Sharma smashed 74 off just 28 balls (5 fours, 8 sixes, SR 264.28), while Travis Head contributed 38 off 23 (5 fours, 1 six). Ishan Kishan (c & wk) added a quick 27 off 17. Heinrich Klaasen played a steady anchor role with 39 off 33 balls. Shashank Singh was the star with the ball for PBKS as he picked up 2 crucial wickets to arrest the SRH run scoring spree.
