The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026, the fourth edition of India's premier women's T20 franchise cricket tournament, is underway.

The season runs from January 9 to February 5, 2026, featuring five powerhouse teams: Mumbai Indians Women (MI-W), Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB-W), Delhi Capitals Women (DC-W), Gujarat Giants Women (GG-W), and UP Warriorz Women (UPW-W).

WPL 2026 Tournament Overview and Preview Format

Double round-robin league stage (each team plays 8 matches), followed by playoffs. The top team advances directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams contest the Eliminator for a spot in the summit clash.

Total Matches: 22 league games + Eliminator + Final.

Venues: The first leg (first 11 matches, January 9-17) is at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai.

The action then shifts to Baroda Cricket Association Stadium (Kotambi Stadium), Vadodara, for the remaining league matches, Eliminator (February 3), and Final (February 5).
