The Indian Super League 2025-26 season is finally set to commence, as the top-tier league of Indian football is likely to start from February 14.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) released a tentative
schedule for the league on Monday (January 26), which will be played across the country.
The season is packed with 91 high-stakes clashes into a tight schedule that wraps up on May 17. In a nod to fairness, all seven showdowns in the decisive final gameweek will kick off at the same time, building nail-biting drama till the end.
The flagship Kolkata derby between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal is set to be played on May 3 in Kolkata's Yuba Bharati Krirangan, while another Kolkata club Mohammedan SC may play a few matches in Jamshedpur. A big change for the venue is the move of Kerala Blasters, who shift their base from Kochi to the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode.
Inter Kashi are slated to play a few matches in Bhubaneswar, while the Mumbai football arena, home of Mumbai City FC, is yet to be confirmed.
The likes of Northeast United FC, Bengaluru FC, FC Goa, and others will play at their regular home venues. SC Delhi and Punjab FC will share the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi as home.
