India's dominance extended
to Wisden's prestigious Five Cricketers of the Year list, which included Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, Rishabh Pant, and Ravindra Jadeja for their performances in the Test series in England.
Gill was in prolific form, scoring 754 runs in the series, including a remarkable 430-run effort in the Edgbaston Test, helping India secure a 2-2 draw. Siraj emerged as the top wicket-taker in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy with 23 wickets, while Pant scored 479 runs despite suffering a toe fracture, even returning to make a crucial 54 in the second innings at Manchester.
