LeBron James Becomes Oldest NBA Player To Record A Triple-Double

LeBron James extended an NBA benchmark with a record triple-double for the Los Angeles Lakers, while Ousmane Dieng and Donovan Clingan delivered standout displays in other key games that also featured injury absences, disciplinary fallout and rotation changes across the league on 13 February 2026.

James drove the Lakers’ 124-104 home win over the Dallas Mavericks, finishing with 28 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. The NBA scoring leader missed a fourth straight game for the Lakers because of that hamstring issue, leaving James to handle more playmaking duties against the Mavericks. James stayed on court throughout the final period, collecting the key 10th rebound late, as Los Angeles closed out a comfortable 20-point victory at home against Dallas.

Elsewhere, former Oklahoma City forward Ousmane Dieng produced 19 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four blocks as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Thunder 110-93. The Thunder had traded Dieng shortly before the deadline, after Dieng helped the Oklahoma City Blue claim the 2024 G-League championship as Finals MVP while also appearing as a Thunder reserve.

Both Milwaukee and Oklahoma City were short-handed during that contest. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers was absent to attend a funeral, leaving assistant Darvin Ham in charge. Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the game because of a right calf strain, while the Thunder were without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, sidelined by an abdominal strain, and Jalen Williams, who has a right hamstring strain.

Role players stepped forward for Milwaukee alongside Dieng. AJ Green scored 17 points, with Bobby Portis contributing 15 points and 12 rebounds. The Thunder announced that Gilgeous-Alexander and Williams will be reassessed after the All-Star break, as Oklahoma City manage key fitness issues while digesting Dieng’s strong outing against the former team.

NBA: Trail Blazers overpower Jazz after disciplinary setback

The Utah Jazz experienced a difficult day both on and off the court before losing 135-119 to the Portland Trail Blazers.
