Sree Charani and Prema Rawat have produced a sensational spell with the ball as India Women tore through Pakistan's batting order in their Group A clash of the Women's Asia Cup 2026 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
After Pakistan Women won the toss and opted to bat, India's bowlers immediately put the pressure on their opponents. However, it was Charani who emerged as the chief destroyer, ripping through the Pakistan middle order with a superb three-wicket burst.

Charani finished her opening two overs with remarkable figures of 3/3, underlining her control and ability to exploit the conditions. She first trapped Shawaal Zulfiqar lbw for 14, before dismissing Gull Feroza for a duck, with Nandani Sharma completing the catch.
The left-arm spinner then delivered another major blow by removing Ayesha Zafar for two, caught by captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Her three wickets came in a devastating spell that left Pakistan struggling at 35/5 after nine overs. She ended with a spell of 3/7 in her four overs.
After Sree Charani, Prema Rawat took over and dismantled the lower order of Pakistan, as her 3/9 in four overs blew away Fatima Sana and her girls. From 27 for no loss, Pakistan lost all of their ten wickets for just 28 runs as Pakistan were bundled out for a mere 55.
