England Set For Final World Cup Warmups Against New Zealand And Costa Rica

England will complete preparations for the 2026 World Cup with friendlies against New Zealand and Costa Rica in Florida. These games follow an unbeaten qualifying campaign and come shortly before group matches in the United States against Croatia, Ghana and Panama.

Before heading to the United States, Thomas Tuchel’s team will appear at Wembley Stadium in March. England will meet Uruguay and Japan there, giving home supporters a final chance to watch the side live before the World Cup begins.

South Florida will stage England’s last two warm-up games, both confirmed for June. New Zealand provide the opposition on 6 June, while Costa Rica follow on 10 June. England also faced Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup, drawing in Brazil.

The venue for the New Zealand fixture has not yet been named, though it will be in Florida. England last met New Zealand in 1991. New Zealand arrive after qualifying for the World Cup with a perfect record, winning five matches from five.
