The IPL on Tuesday released the final shortlist for the upcoming mini-auction in Abu Dhabi, with 350 players making it through from the original pool of 1,390 registrations. 4) Jamshedpur Debuts India's First Transgender Football Tournament
In a historic step for inclusivity in Indian football, seven transgender teams competed in Jamshedpur as part of the first-ever Transgenders' League under the Jamshedpur Super League (JSL). The five-a-side competition, which began on Sunday, features teams including Jamshedpur FT, Chaibasa FC, Chakradharpur FC, Jamshedpur Indranagar FC, Naomundi FC, Saraikela FC and Kolhan Tiger FC.
5) Big Blow To Australia! Josh Hazlewood Ruled Out Of Remainder Of Ashes 2025-26
Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the rest of the Ashes after suffering a fresh injury setback. Coach Andrew McDonald confirmed that the seamer, who already missed the first two Tests, has been dealing with hamstring and Achilles issues and won't feature in the remaining three matches.
6) Pat Cummins set for comeback in Adelaide Ashes Test
Australia captain Pat Cummins is expected to be back for the third Ashes Test at the Adelaide Oval. The fast bowler will return to action without any recent match practice, having not played since the pink-ball Test against West Indies in July 2025.

Norris ended the season with 423 points, just ahead of Verstappen's 421, despite the Red Bull driver nearly erasing a triple-digit deficit in the closing stages of the championship.
While Norris enjoyed a breakthrough year, fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton endured a difficult debut season with Ferrari, failing to record a single podium - a first in his F1 career. His replacement at Ferrari, Carlos Sainz, helped Williams climb to fifth in the constructors' standings, delivering two podiums and contributing to their 137-point total.

8) Fast Bowler Mark Wood Ruled Out Of Ashes Tour
England fast bowler Mark Wood will miss the rest of the Ashes in Australia after a flare-up of the left-knee injury he sustained in the first Test at Perth. He is set to return home this week for rehabilitation with the ECB medical team.
