weightlifter Gyaneshwari Yadav won the silver medal in the Women's 53 kg final at the Commonwealth Games 2026. She arrived at the Commonwealth Games in impressive form, having already enjoyed success on the international stage.

Earlier this year, she claimed two medals in the women's 53kg category at the 2026 Asian Senior Weightlifting Championships in Gandhinagar. She secured silver in the snatch event before finishing with an overall bronze medal, recording a combined lift of 194kg.

She finished the clean and jerk in the CWG 2026 with a personal best of 111 kg.
