Harry Kane's late header in the 93rd minute ensured Bayern Munich drew 2-2 with Union Berlin, ending their winning streak. Danilho Doekhi scored twice for Union, while Luis Diaz netted a stunning goal
for Bayern. Both Ilyas Ansah and Kane had goals disallowed before Kane's equaliser in the capital.
Union Berlin took an early lead when Doekhi converted Janik Haberer's cross, with Manuel Neuer unable to stop the shot. Ansah's goal was ruled offside after a quick VAR check. Bayern found themselves frustrated in the first half but managed to level through Diaz, who kept Josip Stanisic's pass in play and scored from a tight angle.
Union seemed poised for victory when Doekhi scored again after Kane's clearance fell to him following Josip Juranovic's free-kick. However, Kane redeemed himself by heading Tom Bishof's cross past Frederik Ronnow. Despite being more threatening in the second half, Vincent Kompanyโs team struggled to create clear chances.
Michael Olise came close early on, but Ronnow saved his near-post attempt. Diaz missed a golden opportunity when one-on-one with Ronnow, failing to hit the target. Kane also had a goal disallowed for offside before halftime, adding to Bayern's frustrations.
The match statistics showed Bayern had 1.41 expected goals (xG) compared to Union's 0.85. Both teams recorded 12 shots and four on target each. Despite this, Union deserved their draw against the reigning champions, as they matched Bayernโs efforts throughout the game.
Doekhi impressed with his performance, scoring from both attempts and winning five out of seven duels, including all aerial contests. This result means Bayern remain unbeaten in their last 19 Bundesliga matches, with their previous longest streak being 21 games from December 2019 to September 2020.

Kompany will be disappointed that his team's winning run ended but acknowledged that a draw was fair given Unionโs performance against the champions. The match highlighted both teams' strengths and weaknesses as they continue their Bundesliga campaigns.
