The Indian Discus thrower, who hails from Haryana, had a superb outing in Glasgow and a 58.65-metre throw was enough to put her name in the podium. The 27-year-old had a couple of invalid throws at the end but it didn't matter as she had already clinched the medal.
Jamaica's Samantha Hall snatched the Gold medal while Canada's Julia Tunks won Silver. Seema's fellow compatriot Nidhi Rani finished 4th in the final.
