After bidding farewell to fans at full-time, Salah joined Egypt's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations. Despite uncertainty about his future, Carragher hopes Salah stays
beyond the next transfer window. Carragher expressed his thoughts to Sky Sports: "I don't see Mo Salah playing for Liverpool next season. "
He continued by questioning if Salah would remain committed until season's end. Carragher urged him to reconsider any plans to leave. He highlighted that moving now might lead to watching Liverpool in major finals from afar.
Carragher emphasised that Salah deserves recognition for his contributions to Liverpool. "He deserves a guard of honour," Carragher said. "He deserves a mosaic in the Kop. " He suggested that Salah should celebrate his achievements with his family on the pitch during his final game.
Salah has scored 190 Premier League goals, ranking fourth all-time. Wayne Rooney holds third place with 208 goals, Harry Kane is second with 213, and Alan Shearer leads with 260 goals.
