Rohit Sharma has become the player with the most sixes in ODI cricket in the ongoing India vs South Africa match in Ranchi.
The star Indian batter has hit 3 sixes, thus overtaking former Pakistan player
Shahid Afridi in the tally. Rohit has now hit 352 sixes in ODI cricket, the most by a player.
Earlier in the innings, the first six took Rohit to 350 sixes, a milestone where he becomes the first Indian to achieve. Apart from that, Rohit's third six just after scoring his fifty has taken him atop of the elite list.
The veteran India batter has got to 352 sixes in his 269th innings. Along with that, the India star is also edging towards the completion of 20,000 international runs across all formats, which will make him only the 4th Indian to achieve after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli.
