She also addressed the incidents that sparked the speculation, insisting that they were coincidental and had no connection to any relationship.

"Both incidents were purely coincidental and nothing more. However, social media unnecessarily creates stories out of unrelated events, which is unfair. "

How did the Tilak Varma-Sreeleela rumours begin?

The dating rumours first surfaced after both were reportedly present during the Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in December 2025. While Sreeleela attended the temple with her mother, Tilak Varma was also reportedly visiting with his family around the same time.

The speculation intensified during a T20 World Cup match at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, where Sreeleela was seen in attendance. Social media users also pointed out that a member of her entourage was allegedly wearing a jersey associated with Tilak Varma, further fuelling the rumours.

Despite these observations, neither Sreeleela nor Tilak Varma has publicly commented on the reports.
