WTT Feeder Vadodara 2026: Manush Shah, Ryu Hanna win Singles Titles; Payas Jain finishes with Two Doubles Medals

The curtain dropped at the WTT Feeder Vadodara 2026 event with action-packed matches of Championship clashes at the Sama Sports Complex in Vadodara on Sunday (January 11).

The five-day event culminated with a grandstand finish as five championships were crowned at the Table Tennis competition. Manush Shah won the Men's Singles title while Korea's Ryu Hanna clinched the Women's Singles title.

WTT Feeder Vadodara 2026 - As It Happened

Earlier in the day, Payas Jain and Manush Shah won their singles Semifinal matches, whereas Ryu Hanna and Anusha Kutumbale won the women's singles semifinals.

Anusha, ranked lower than 700, has been a revelation in the tournament, and the Indore girl continued her merry run to book a place in the final. Syndrela, Kolkata's young teenager, put a valiant show

but the Korean Hanna won in the 5th set by a whisker.

Mixed Doubles Final

Syndrela Das and Payas Jain won the Mixed Doubles final with a fantastic win over Harmeet Desai and Yashaswini Ghorpade. The young pair went behind early and conceded the first set, but then came back strongly to win 3-1.

Women's Doubles Final

In the Women's Doubles Final, the Indian pair Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee fought hard but Korean pair Ryu Hanna and Yoo Yerin snatched the win in the final set. Although the Indian pair dominated in their set victories, they failed to clinch the final one.

Men's Doubles Final

It was a fantastic win for Payas Jain in the Men's Doubles Final who paired with Ankur Bhattacharjee to beat Mudit Dani and Akash Pal in a 3-1 set margin.

Women's Singles Final

Anusha Kutumbale had a dream run in the WTT Feeder event but her fairy tale finally ended in the final. Against a strong Ryu Hanna, Anusha failed to make any mark and succumbed to a straight set defeat at the hands of Ryu Hanna. The Korean paddler showcased her immense quality on the table and won the match in a canter to win the title.

Men's Singles Final

Top seed Manush Shah locked horns against the 7th seed Payas Jain in the Men's Singles final. Payas, who had already won the Mixed Doubles and Men's Doubles titles, won the first set 11-7. In the second set, Manush made a strong comeback, but Payas saved three set points and then induced Manush to a mistake to clinch the 2nd set 12-10.

Manush made a strong return in the crucial third set by winning it 11-6, and then restored parity by winning the 4th set as well with the same scoreline. In the final set, Manush took control and won to win the title.
