England duo Joe Root and Harry Brook endured a tough third Test against New Zealand at Nottingham, losing significant rating points. Root dropped 31 points after a disappointing showing, falling to third place just one week after beginning his 12th stint at No. 1. Brook shed 14 points and now occupies second spot.
New Zealand's victory in the ICC World Test Championship series (2-1) against England boosted several of their batters. Daryl Mitchell starred with a century in Nottingham, climbing five places to 11th. Devon Conway jumped 14 spots to 15th,
